Set up Plex on a TV without typing a password
In Yonto Player, choose Plex, then Log in, and enter the code the television shows at plex.tv/link on your phone: your password never goes near the remote.
Every server shared with your Plex account then plays in one source, with its watched marks and resume points, and as your first source it is free, with no Yonto account to make.
On an Android phone or tablet, it is the same Log in: tap Settings, Sources, Add source, choose Plex, tap Log in, then Open plex.tv/link, which opens Plex’s page in your browser to sign in and allow the link. Your media server and NAS on an Android phone or tablet says what else works there.

For a server of your own, which Plex does not share with your account, type its address in the form instead, with a token only if the server asks for one. Leave the address empty to log in.

What is stored
Section titled “What is stored”Yonto Player never sees your Plex password: you type it on plex.tv. What Plex hands back is a sign-in for Yonto Player, which stays on this device with the source. It is left out of backups and device transfers, and Log out on the source, or deleting the source, removes it.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”“This code has expired” The code ran out before you entered it. Choose Get a new code, and enter that one.
“Log in to Plex, or type your own server’s address, by editing the source in Settings.” The source has no login and no address. Edit the source and choose Log in next to Account, or type your server’s URL.
“No Plex server is shared with this account. For your own server, add its address and token by editing the source in Settings.” You signed in with an account that has no server shared with it. Sign in with the account the server is shared with, or enter your own server’s URL and token.
Troubleshooting lists every message the app shows.
