Watch list

The Watch list holds the films and series you want to watch later, from every source together. You fill it yourself: Yonto Player never adds anything to it.

Save a title

On a television, open a title and press the + beside Play. It turns into a tick once the title is saved.
On a phone or tablet, touch the playlist icon under Play. It turns into a tick once the title is saved.
From a poster on a phone or tablet, touch its menu (the three dots) in Search, Browse or Home, and choose Add to watch list.

A title with nothing to play yet can still be saved.

Where it shows

Home has a Watch list shelf after Continue playing, once you have saved something.

On a television, the shelf shows your newest 20 titles and ends in See all, which opens the whole list.
On a phone or tablet, the shelf’s heading opens the whole list.

The list is newest first. With more than one source saved, a poster wears its source’s name, and opening it asks that source, even when another one is the active source.

Take a title off

Press the tick on its page again.
On a television, hold OK on it in the list and choose Remove.
On a phone or tablet, choose Remove from watch list in its menu.

A title also leaves the list by itself when you start playing it, since it is in Continue playing then, and when you delete the source it came from.

What is kept on the device

The Watch list stays on the device, like History: a television and a phone each keep their own, unless you turn on Sync, which keeps it the same on all your devices, encrypted so we can’t read it (Privacy policy).
Only what a poster needs is kept: the title’s name, picture, year and rating. Opening it asks the source as usual.
It holds up to 1000 titles. When it is full, a new title is not added until you take one off.
Your server is not involved: Yonto Player does not read or change Plex’s own Watchlist or a server’s favourites, and saving a title tells the server nothing.

Messages you may see

“Nothing saved yet” The Watch list is empty. A line under it says: “Save a title from its page or its menu and it waits here until you want it.”
